Guys iam SO SORRY to keep spamming with this shirt but I had to show off how nice the print came out. The linework is as crisp as the original.
This is a PHOTO of the shirt! Much thanks to thejakeyl88 over on the Woot community forum!!!! He got ths shirt overnighted and posted photos today. Iam VERY impressed with the way it came out.

AC tomorrow! I will be at table C-03 with Erin aka Dingbat! She will have pottery and prints ( right?) and i will have a bunch of stuff. Our table will be awesome.
I will be doing sketches and badges and i love to meet people. I will be out and about a little at night too though i don't know where friends are going to be hanging out. I will probably be at the hotel bar or wandering around doing some people watching, haha. Come up and say hi if you remember what i look like. I like to chat and i am for sure approachable even though i might look kinda strange ;P

Figured I'd start prepping for San Diego Comic Con! Did these fun little paintings...last year they all sold out the first day so im going to try and have 20-30 or more for sale this year. More if i can handle the workload.
They are 5" x 7" and done with gouache. Just something fun for me...and a cheap way for people to get original art from me personally. :)

Anthrocon is coming up! I will be at table C-03 in the Dealers Room sharing a table with Dingbat! I will be there all weekend. Please come by. Erin will have her gorgeous pottery for sale there! :D
I will have shirts, metal pendants, Endangered Ark card decks, bandannas, masks (pre painted only, ready to wear), Monster Scent stuff, soaps, a few leather cuffs, stickers and some other merch i can't remember right now. There will be a lot!
I may bring a Foo Dog toy to show, but will not be selling any. Iam saving them for sale at San Diego Comic Con. Sorry folks!
I will also be doing badges/sketches. No color, just ink with white highlights on natural colored (cardboard colored) cardstock.

12:57 pm - Tentatiger sneak peek!
Iam very pleased to release some sneak peeks of the Tentatiger toy! Keep in mind this will look totally different when the colors are applied to the cast prototype. I think they did a fantastic job on the sculpt and iam VERY VERY excited!!!
Preorders are open right now! ORDER A TENTATIGER HERE! They will be able to be preordered for a little while but grab one now to make sure you are counted. You will not be charged until they actually ship out ( though please be aware that the company will do an authorization on the card...but it is not taking money out!)

Really hot the last few days, it's sucking the energy out of me since there is minimal air conditioning here. Ugh. I'm trying to stay on schedule but it's been tough to keep my motivation up. Kind of taking it easy a little, please bear with me for now... :)

Hey guys I just got back from dropping off art at Poem Art House in Downers Grove downtown! If you are heading to the Heritage Festival this weekend be sure to go by and check things out! The shop is right across from the music stage where NIGHT RANGER will be playing. You know you don't want to miss that.
I dropped off some masks and soap and some etched monster glasses! If you live in the area, check 'em out! :) I know the shop will be doing henna tattoos, hairbraiding, shirt painting and i think some fire performance stuff tomorrow! Fun!
I ended up not being able to resist some items at Poem including this handsome guy:
I have always wanted a Barong type piece but most i have found cost more than i could afford. This guy just clicked with me and was very reasonably priced. I think he's actually a tiger but i might be wrong. I think he's great, the teeth are so gorgeous. Perfect shade of red with that gold...yes, please!!! I also bought an amazing necklace that looks and moves exactly like a Sea Krate! That's behind the cut.
( Iam also including a photo of my retired werewolf mask mounted on the wall...looks pretty cool! )
I also want to announce that a shirt design of mine will be going on SHIRT.WOOT in a few weeks! I can't really say what it is but I guess i COULD drop awkward corny hints about ruffling feathers or not fanning the flames but i won't do something so silly. No, not at all. I'll post as soon as i have a date on when it will be up :) I'm excited!!

Painted this blank figure to promoteMezco Toys Mez-itz vinyl toy. 60 artists were invited to participate in a showing of these painted figures at San Diego Comic Con this year! You can see it there...i think at Mezco's booth. It will go on to be shown at a New York gallery and will be for sale once it is returned to me after the showings.
It's a real pain in the ass to paint toys but im happy with this guy! Just made it up as i went along...

Hey guys!
I was asked by patchtogether to explain this: If you get a charge authorization from Patch Together IT IS NOT CHARGING YOU! This is what they had to say:
We have received emails recently regarding to some customers have
noticed their credit card used for preorder shows charges after they
place preorder with us. We perform a credit card authorization for the
amount of the preorder to validate available credit. An authorization
is not a charge to the card. Although the card is not charged until
product is ready for shipping, Card issuers will withhold funds (up to
48 hours) for each authorization. Therefore the card they use to
preorder must have enough funds when the time preorder happens.
It is just an authorization, not a charge! The money will not be taken from the account!!! Please don't fret! Sorry for any confusion or grief but i wanted to make this clear before people got upset!

Tentatiger is up for preorder!
PREORDER YOUR TENTATIGER RIGHT HERE!!
He is $52 . It is a little more because of all the moving parts. His tentacles ARE going to be articulated! He is going to be the same size as the Foo Dog toy, 7" tall.
We need 50 preorders to start production. It will work exactly how the foo dog went. You order, we wait, they make the toy, i work with them to get it right...they make however many we order and send it out. It could take 2-4 months but it will be worth it if they come out anything like the Foo Dog.
And like the Foo Dog, i will only have a certain amount of my own to sell once they are done. Don't miss out this time.
So go grab one today! You will not be charged until the toy is actually ready to ship out. This allows you a few months to save up and have that amount ready!
I will be posting updates HERE, please check my journals before you email me with questions. Anything i know will be here as SOON as iam told. You can also ask Patchtogether about status but they do keep me very well informed so again, check the journal.

Hey guys!
So ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) neogeen gave me the idea of doing sample scents on paper to send out to people that want to sample them before buying perfume/soap/what have you. They will be send in plastic baggies to preserve the scents.
Grab a sample here! Sorry i had to charge for them but the oil is not exactly cheap :) I'll send a sticker to make up for it.

Monster perfumes are out! Check them out at the Starborn Alchemy website! I ordered a few to sell at AC, so please come by and sample some there. There will also be soap and the body butters/lip balms from the same line. My table will smell awesome.
Also since i got a printer and made some simple labels for my monster soaps. They aren't anything fancy, didn't want to have wasteful packaging. They and some other products are being picked up to sell at a local art shop that is right down the street. I needed something appealing and that listed the ingredients and where to get more information ( because people are gonna be like "wtf, fart soap what?)
EDIT: LOLOLOL, looks like a screwed up on the Demon Armpit labels...it says Demon Sweat instead. DURRRRR. Thanks for looking out for me, Todd. :D
Iam also making some changes to my business Iam working to get shipping more efficient thanks to a friend building a packing table/ proper workstation for me soon. Online postage printing is now being used ( welcome to 2009, Mel ) which will email shipping notifications. Organization is something i struggle with esp being one A.D.D person managing a few dozen projects and orders at once. I want to make you guys happy so changes are being made :)
Besides that...YAY NEW TOY!

Commissioned custom mask for Michael Shantz, based on his art: www.myspace.com/shantz
It's going to be cast in plastic and produced for Michael to paint his own versions. I'm going to paint one for him too...bright green!
The clear globes are just there for the smooth shape, the actual vision will be through the "tearducts" and some drilled through pupils.
